Cleaning sticky cooking oil off worktops...

  • scrape gently with a wallpaper stripper? that's what I use for cleaning up after baking etc if dough hardens on the work surface. Good for cleaning pizza stones too.
  • Good old Star Drops!

    Add a splodge to a little bit of water, use a sponge to make it all "frothy" and leave on for about 10 minutes.

    That even cleans the burnt on grease in my grill and oven.
