Combined insurance help please! :)

Hi everyone

I have looked through a few pages of posts and can't see anyone asking this already so hope it's not a repeat question...but I am looking for any hints / tips for combining insurances.

I have car insurance with Swift which is £48 per month.
I have home insurance with Axa which is £8 per month.

I am 36 y/o, male, no claims bonuses.

I am looking to get mobile insurance and wondered if I am paying over the odds by having separate insurance for each of the above.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Tommy

    Most likely NOT overpaying.

Cover all and anything policies are usually for people with more money than time to mess around getting quotes to save £100.

Instead of paying £ per month phone insurance buy a cheap phone to tide you over if you do break/damage or lose it.

Not being insured should give you the incentive to look after it.

The only phone i have ever damaged it one i took swimming in the sea.. oops.. Seems phones dont like seawater.

forgotmyname is right in that you may not save much. Some insurers do offer up to 20% off if you have multiple products (e.g. Aviva). But, often by shopping around you may well find more savings than by tying to one insurer.

Sounds like you have your phone already and because you want to insure it, it may not be cheap. One issue you may face is that not all insurers will cover a phone not "just bought" - so check that out carefully if you decide to buy. Worth reading Martin's thread http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/cheap-mobile-phone-insurance and not taking it swimming as said.
I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
I do however reserve the right to be correct by accident.
