How does anyone choose a number? (Birthdays, memorable dates, etc.)
What's the range of available numbers?
Are you giving people free reign to choose their own number(s)?0 -
I think the OP just wants a digital way for people to choose a number for a raffle.
I guess them just emailing the OP their chosen number is no good as there is no way of knowing if that number is already taken, and would generate countless back-forth emails ..0 -
random.org will give you random numbers within a range you set.
Or if you want to ensure, say, that numbers 1-20 are only each issued to one person, can you do a doodle poll with choices 1-20 and tell people they can't have a number that someone else has already claimed?0 -
Thanks guys it is for people to pick random numbers between 1 to 100 but as Andypix said they do not want people going back and forth with situations where people may choose the same number so it is a case of trying to find a digital way or any other ideas on how people can choose their numbers from 1 to 100 to enter the raffle, maybe there is an app or something to do this?0

Hi,
there may be an app, but can't somebody run up a wee spreadsheet, where the number selected changes from say, green to red when selected.0 -
1) Don't allow them to select a number, just allocate them in turn (either sequentially or randomly)
2) Do as frugal says, making the spreadsheet available online through something like Google Docs.0
