How to find labourer

How can I find a labourer to demolish a small building? The usual sites such as Checkatrade only advertise skilled trades, and I can't find a labourer on them.

    I'd second the Facebook approach.

The cheapest way would be if you got a reply off a couple of strapping young teenage lads in the neighbourhood who'd be glad of a few quid in their back pocket. Of course, you run the risk of "what happens if they hurt themselves during the process ......", but it's worth a thought.

Contact a few reputable building companies and explain what you need. They will have labourers as well as skilled tradesmen. What will you do with the waste? Are you expecting them to dispose of it? Please make all your requirements known then pick the one you prefer, whether on price, attitude or when they can do it.

I was thinking of employing a labourer directly rather than going through a building company, and want to know if and how this can be done.

ask the people who are going to remove the rubble.

    .
    think about it?

Rubble will go into a skip, so not relevant.

I'm asking whether there is somewhere online I can go to hire a labourer directly.
