If it does, your credit balance (if you have one at this time of the year) isn't at risk and, based on the GBEnergy precedent, your present Iresa contract terms will be protected. The only cost to you, me and all other consumers is the financial cost of the insolvency.
PS. There is no guarantee that Iresa Flex 4 will not have morphed into Flex 5 in a month's time.0 -

Not a hope. Energy prices have risen across the board. The wholesale price of oil is increasing and the £ has fallen 20% compared to the US$. Oh, and the social and economic part of each electricity bill has risen from 4% to 20% in the last 6 years.0 -
Not even a 1% chance . . . .
so I may as well switch now rather waiting for the this Auction . .0 -

I called Iresa today, as my fixed deal with E.ON v19 ends Feb 21st £86.50 per month is what we pay.
I called as I wanted to see what their customer service was like. Can't have many in office as I was caller no 2 and took sales 19 minutes to answer.
I questioned who long it takes and was told :
14 days cooling off period, then first dd taken around day 18. Change over should be completed in 30 days.
or
16 days change over, with no cooling off period and first dd comes out within 5 days.
Next dd will be around 20th of each month ( should I change over to them)
I also asked them about any credit checks and he said none are done.
My usage is Gas 15294 and Elec 5183 both per year. Using those figures Iresa shows as 93.06 per month, so not to much of a hike.
However, I've been reading feedback on their facebook page and the problems people having been having sounds bad. I know people are quick to complain. Don't know what to do and I've not got a lot of time, as I've been riding the wave hoping for a good deal with E.ON to stay with them.0 -
Perhaps they do no checks as payment is always in advance.0
