northern rock claim ppi gone bust

Hi
I have tried to register a claim as recommended on mse site via fscs site
I was claiming for products issued by Northern Rock in 2004
this is the reply I received
FSCS is currently not accepting applications for the specified firm.
The product you are claiming compensation for was unregulated at the time you were given the advice to buy it.
does any one have any advice pleas?
