How quickly are you getting through batteries with your watches? I've recently had just the 4th battery in 19 years put in my Tag Heuer.

I've had my Citizen EcoDrive for nearly 10 years now, and replaced precisely zero batteries in it - because it's rechargeable and solar powered! I just stick it under the bed-side lamp in the evening, so it gets an opportunity to re-charge.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

And that's precisely why the OP opted to buy Eco-drive.
    Me too. ;)

Me too, I have 4 Eco drives never needed a battery in any, thats why i asked about the cost of replacing in the Tag, no need to put inder the lamp though any natural light is good, they will hold their charge for a looong time even if kept in the dark
