Hi

I've wrote to my Life Insurance Company twice now back late Nov and mid Dec and not had a response - I only wanted to know what I was actually covered for? Do I have grounds to complain?

Thanks

Have you read your policy booklet? That will tell you what you're covered for. I don't think they will write you a letter detailing everything you're covered for when it's set out in the policy booklet

Alternatively you can phone them and request the policy booklet

Always worth complaining about an insurer's bad administration.

Only costs a stamp, and often results in a goodwill gesture to kill it off.

You can complain about whatever you like.

Insurers are often slow but they do tend to respond. Failure to respond after two written requests suggests there may be an issue. Are you writing to a current address and not a historic one? Have you got the right company? (there have been a lot of takeovers)
