Help! Changing the floor plan on a new build!?

I'm buying a new build which hasn't started to get build yet! I don't like where the door is in the living room. Would it be possible to move it along if not just too not have one there as there is French doors aswell as the other doors.

You could move it a little to the left, but you'll need to move that light switch as well.0

If it's an outside door then extremely unlikely as it would affect planning.
Large nationwide developer or small local builder? Again very unlikely as there are normally good design & Building Regs reasons for internal door positions, but you will only know by asking.0 -

I doubt it given that as far as the builder is concerned they're building type A house of a set design and whilst finishing features can be customed, they're not going to be wanting faffing around checking every design requirement of every house they're building0
