Which? provides the following suggested prices for uPVC casement windows, ground floor supply and install.

My quote for A rated windows is coming in at less than 40% of these prices. I have carried out various check and am satisfied with quotation.
Would others consider that the Which? prices are overstated?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

National mags can't provide costs for things...They probably get paid by Everest for a bit of advertising and get these prices from them0

Thank you, worried jim, for your most helpful posting.
The average mark up on the Wickes' price in my quotation is times two. I think that is reasonable considering that the installer surveys and measures accurately, removes the old windows, installs the new windows and disposes of the waste. I also receive the insurance backed guarantee for the windows and the work.
And I am still at 40% of the Which? price.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
I think there was a thread on here about windows/doors and somebody mentioned these 2 sites for prices to compare. The average mark up on the Wickes' price in my quotation is times two. They do give a good idea on prices but they are supply only so you will need somebody to measure and fit them.
I think the 1st site does a measure and fit package also.0 -

Thank you, Boohoo. Very useful references. The fully installed price quoted to me (after adding VAT to the trade price) is between time 1.8 and time 2. I can add the assumed labour to the prices. I think that I have a correct price.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0
