You could end up with no money from the transfer but still having to pay the fee and risk having your account closed.

I used to use the MBNA who had a 0% fee but charged 6% p.a. on money transfers, but that ended and now they charge an upfront fee.
Are there any other genuine mule cards out there?
i have done credit balance refund trick before with Barclarycard and MBNA, but tried it with Santander and got burned (they refused to refund).
Another way of avoiding this is to use iZettle and pay myself at 1.75% on a 0% purchase card...0
