Best card for paying off Very account...?

Hi my boyfriend bought loads of stuff from Very account not realising that he would get shed loads of interest after three months! I told him to hey an interest free card to pay it off then pay off the card. Does he need a 0% spending card or would it be a balance transfer??

Thanks for any help 😀:-D

Neither. He needs a 0% money transfer card.

Actually Very accepts payments from credit cards so either a 0% purchase card (best option) or a money transfer will do. If you use the 0% purchase card there are no initial fees, but the money transfer can be anything from 2 and 5% of the amount needed.

Ideally your boyfriend needs to take out a 0% purchases credit card.

Depends on much a month he intends to pay to clear the balance but subject to his credit history etc the longer the better if it's a large amount.

And whilst it's not my place to tell him what/what not to do I'd advise closing the Very account as more often than not their goods can be bought cheaper elsewhere.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

Thanks guys, he has now been accepted for an MBNA card 0%, which will promptly be cut up on Very paid off, and his Very account closed!!

I have used Very for many years (7/8) and never paid a penny in interest using their buy now pay later deals.
Very often sends money off vouchers or 10/15% deals off. I have often found out that with the special deals, Very was the cheaper for certain products.
For example i bought a Macbook with 20% off, there was no such comparable deals elsewhere.
So, if you can be disciplined, you need not cancel your account.
