When filling out Martin's form for PPI claim, why do they ask
"Did you (or your partner, if joint policy) have any health problems or were you registered as disabled when you took out this insurance"
If my wife did does this mean we don't qualify for refund,
please can anyone help

No. It can mean you are more likely to have been missold. Trivial health issues rarely impact on PPI. However, more serious and persistent health conditions can make PPI policy next to useless as they wouldnt pay out because of that medical condition.
Disability is a wide ranging term. Some disabilities could prevent PPI from being suitable. Others not.
Remember you are not entitled to anything at this stage. You are not applying for a refund. You are making a formal complaint that they did something wrong and you are giving your reasons why you think they did something wrong.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
