Hi,

I have got two Tesco 3%, one Sant 1.5% 123, one 5% Flexdirect N/wide account and 3 BOS 3% accounts all maxed out with the maximum savings; namely £3k for each Tesco, £20k for Sant, £5k for each BOS account and whatever the max is for Nationwide (can't remember if it is £3k or £5k).

I used Tesco the Internet Savers and Internet Access accounts (or whatever they are called) to create six direct debits (payable into my Tesco accounts) to make sure that I was eligible for the BOS account. Amazed how easy it was.

Thanks MSE for the advise.

You've got Nationwide in the singular in one place and in the plural in another!

And you've not made it clear that you have six DDs for your BoS accounts.

It's neither. Do you want another guess? Three is the limit though. ;)

And (a large part of) your 1.5% AER Santander cash could be making 3.25% AER if you drip feed it into some 5% AER regular savers.

    £2500 that I have got.

Please elaborate as I am not a fan of Santander as my direct debits only get less than £5 , which does not cover their £5 per monthly fee.

    Thanks.

Search out the drip-feeding method in the best savings accounts article on the main site.

Do you mean that you have set up DDs on Tesco Savings accounts to pull cash from the three BOS accounts into these and that you are then re-directing this money from your Tesco savings accounts to your Nationwide account(s)?

Yes I am but they are not going to N/wide. They are going directly to my Tesco accounts, I am maxed out in Nationwide with £2500 so I will not get any interest; whereas I am with Tesco.

Corrected my OP to reflect the above.
