Buying first house: Tree Preservation Order

Have you got a number from the council that you can call? Alternatively, you can send a FOI request for a list of all trees in a particular area with a TPO.
Although, if you don't own the land the only thing you can touch is the branches that grow over your boundary anyway.
Personally, I would not trust a thing any EA said to me over a property. Half of what they told us in writing about the one we bought turned out to be rubbish (including that the sellers actually owned it and the freehold...)0 -
Only if they are a known risk, and from that drawing it seems unlikely.
I can't quite read from the picture what types they are, except from T3, which says 'common oak'. Maybe you can read the original.
Thanks again for all of the helpful posts.
Yes, I had trouble seeing myself, I scanned it in as detailed as I can.
T3 is Common Oak as you rightly said.
T1 doesn't have a description.
T2 Field Maple B3
T4 Common Oak
T5 Ash
T6 Common Oak
T7 Common Oak
T8 Silver Birch
Obvously, the ones I am most interested in are T1 and 2 but also potentially T3 and T4.
T5 is also a slight concern as although it is much further down, the branches almost come into our second car parking space. Not sure if Ash trees leak sap, but also would not want to come out in the morning and find a branch had fallen on the car!0
