They don't. You tell them, or they send a few speculative letters out.0 -
Hi again,
I've begun proceedings against one company that my friend had a credit card with.
Next step is to find others.
How do i find out which companies she had cards/loans with over six years ago? Any tips?0 -
Ask her. If she doesn't remember you've had it.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

You really haven't started (court) "Proceedings" at all. I expect you have just made a complaint of mis-selling. A vast difference.londonerryan wrote: »

You need to understand that Claims Management Companies don't charge to "find out" if you've been mis-sold. All they do is ask you to fill in the same complaint form that you would complete if you were complaining alone. They have no special powers or techniques for discovering what finance you may have had and with whom.londonerryan wrote: »Would companies that charge you to find out if you've been missold PPI have any more luck?
All they effectively do is put a stamp on the envelope containing your complaint.0 -

They aren't psychic. They don't have special powers. They are busineses that charge you up to 50% just for putting a stamp on the same complaint form you would use.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
