Digital Splash Awards 17
January theme - Landscape Photography
The Digital Splash Awards photography competition gives you the chance to win £100 in Wilkinson Cameras Vouchers every month until Digital Splash 16 in October, and go on to The Final for a chance to win up to £500 in vouchers!
Every monthly winner will go through to The Final, which takes place at Digital Splash 17 in October. Please note – Only competition entries from within the UK will be approved.

Each winning image will be professionally printed and mounted by Epson for display and judging. The top 3 images will be chosen by a combination of visitor voting on the Saturday and a panel of professional photographer judges. The winners will be announced live at Digital Splash 17 on the Sunday.
February: Landscape
The Brief:
We’re inviting images from any season - rural or urban - any image which celebrates the meaning of ‘Landscape’ to you. Remember to think carefully about perspective and composition. Landscapes are a perfect time to try using filters, to enhance the scene infront of you, balance out the light or reduce reflections. Have a look at our the Wilkinson Cameras LEE Filters guide for more information.
When submitting an image (particularly via Twitter or Instagram) then please ensure you have an original full sized copy of the image with a resolution of at least 300 dpi and a minimum length of 3000 pixels on the shortest side. Final images will be professionally printed to at least A2 size, so we may contact you asking for the original file if you are successful.

Each month will have a different theme. The Prizes:
Monthly winners - £100 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers
The Final:
1st Place - £500 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers
2nd Place - £300 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers
3rd Place - £100 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers

Eligibility
The competition is free to enter and open to everyone.

Entries
All entries must be in by the end of each month and the winner will be chosen by our guest judge by the end of the first week of the following month.

Inappropriate Content
Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. We retain sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.

Rights
By entering the contest, entrants agree to have their submitted entries and name displayed on our website and used by us for any purpose, at any time, without any fee or other form of compensation. We reserve the right to disqualify users, without notice, and for any reason.

By entering Wilkinson Cameras Digital Splash Awards, entrants confirm the following:

Entrants are submitting their own work and that they own the copyright and any other necessary intellectual property rights relating to the image.

They have the permission of anyone pictured in the image and have a signed model release form where required – plus permission from a parent or guardian if the subject is under 18 years of age.

The entrant will indemnify Wilkinson Cameras against any claims made by any third parties in respect of non-compliance with any of the above points.

By entering the competition, the photographer agrees to allow Wilkinson Cameras to reproduce the images for any marketing purpose connected with the competition – including use on social media, the Wilkinson Cameras websites and for distribution to media as part of any PR activity connected to the competition.

Winners agree to take part in any post-competition marketing activity with regard this competition and future Wilkinson Cameras photography competitions and events.

Copyright of each image is retained by its respective photographer.



The decision of the judges is final and there is no cash alternative available to those prizes offered.
