M&S DD's "remain" active

OK, so got an M&S account, completed switch last month, 2 DD's came over.
Applied for the monthly saver, set up all fine. Told the 2 DD's were good and qualified.
As I understand it the DD's are not a requirement for the regular saver going forward.
To qualify for the £10 added to the gift card, I need 2 DD's to "remain active". Seems that I have somehow mangled up my DD's to M&S and only actually have one active now. Does anyone know if setting up a new one will mean I still qualify? remain seems a slightly ambiguous term to me.
Has anyone since cancelled a DD and created a new one and still got their bonus to the gift card?
Thanks.

M&S will know! If you get the answer you want to hear when you call, then make a note of the CSA's name and record the date/time of the call. If you don't get the answer you want to hear, then ring again.Does anyone know if setting up a new one will mean I still qualify?
For what it's worth, I think you'll be OK if at some point in the calendar month you have 2 DDs on the account.0 -
Why would it make a difference? There are many reasons to cancel one DD and set up another, changing energy suppliers for one.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

Yeah, it is opened and running, but since then I've managed to cancel one and created another. Will see how it goes I guess.0 -
Yes that works fine - did exactly this myself last month(and gift card payments have resumed)0
