I have one default dissapearing from my credit file on 12/02/17 and one closed account which has been on there since. 11/01/2011 and hasn't been taken off after six years. I have since appealed. How likely will my credit report improve afterwards?
I use Callcredit/Noddle to check my credit report.

Your files will look better to lenders once they're removed.0

Thanks. I hope so too. Its upsetting for me when getting refused for credit. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Your defaulted account will be removed as you have said.
Obviously the default dropping off will leave your report in better order. If you have some late payments that will remain for another year or so I would not expect these to be an issue in terms of getting credit.0 -

The closed account in question in my original post, which I was talking about is O2. In orange as you can see in the image was one month late, so as you mention this may stay on my file for another year.

Why get upset, its just 1 of them things, just like when you apply for a job and you get turned down.
Just move on from it.0 -
