Anyone played with a Renault Zoe or a BMW i3?

    If you watch the final episode of the Grand Tour you can see James driving an i3 and finding that two of the charging points he attempted to use on the journey were broken. I'd say that until the infrastructure is improved then using any all electric car for a long journey may be a significant risk.

    Staged for entertainment value as all TG/GT are

    The main Issue is getting to a charging point to find some muppet has parked a conventionally powered vehicle in the charging space because it's 10 feet closer to the shop door than the other spaces that are empty rather than faulty chargers

    I noticed that the first time he tried using a charging point he said it was broken. Fine, but what about the two that were shown in a line next to it? When they were Top Gear they stated that a Tesla Model S had run out of charge when in fact the company were able to show that it hadn't. Bit of poetic licence for the sake of a good story I expect.
