Due to the Brexit overload, the good news from PIP Tribunal land is not filtering through. A Major victory has been won regarding Mental Health Grounds Mobility, until the new ruling a lot of people were only getting an average of 4pts, so someone transferring from DLA would not get the mobility component they were entitled to under DLA, the upper tribunal has clarified the law regarding the descriptor, and guess what? the assessors and the tribunals have interpreted the discriptor wrongly. Which means it will be easier to get the points needed for. Low rate mobility PIP. I cannot put a link up but here is the ref no: 2016 UKUT 531 AAC
