Paid off

I paid off various debts in early January and have just received my Equifax report but they are still showing on the report
Can anyone advise how long it takes before they take to show as settled?

Thanks in advance

John

  • It's not an exact science, but it'll take around 4 weeks for your credit reports to be updated. Depends when the lender reports their information to the Credit Reference Agencies. Most lenders update them once a month on or around the same time, if you go on your Credit Report I believe it shows somewhere when a particular commitment was last updated from a lender so that may give you some indication of when you can expect it to be updated.

As above, 4-6 weeks from date last updated using the paid reports. Could take up to 8 weeks using the free reports in some cases.
