In September our beloved Labrador was hit by a car. He was being walked by a local dog walker who was house sitting as we were on holiday. We were so upset but like a miracle he is ok. I used to walk dogs and was covered for things like this through my insurance policy. If this had happened to me, I'd have claimed on my insurance as that's what its for. Am glad your dog is okay, how frightening for you!
