Drinks packages?

I'm getting married in the west end of Glasgow, nice venue but those are standard prices for the area.

Seeing wedding planner person tomorrow so will talk through options then. The bar definitely takes cards and there are cash points nearby too.

I think serving drinks with the meal is nice and enables people to stay seated and not queue at the bar or faff around paying.

Would it be possible for drinks to be served to the table rather than bottles on it (apart from water)? Wine could be offered as the 'main choice' but with those declining to have their glass filled offered a simple choice of beer or soft drink as an alternative?

That sounds better idea .... or adding onto that when you do the invites etc - ask everyone to oick there drink for the meal so glasses could be ready for wine - the venue would know how many glasses per bottle just do the soft drinks as fresh x
