WiFi Hotspots

Options
When out and about I normally connect to BT WiFi Hotspots but ever since my recent visit to a Travelodge the computer won't connect anymore when I did a diagnostic to said connect to "Travelodge hotspot failed" so it must only be looking for that.

How do I correct it so I can again connect to BT WiFi or Openzone?

Using HP Laptop, Win 10, Firefox

I would cheat, rather than look for the cause because it is easier and quicker. Just delete the wifi card. On reboot the card will re-install

On wifi settings the is a connect to network default setting

Thats what he/she means but....click on the wifi icon , select network settings , select wifi networks , manage networks, then select the one you wan't to lose and forget it.

Or on the wifi icon click on the travelodge one untick the connect automatically box

when I have had this issue I found trying to connect to another wifi and then immediately going back to connect to the one I want usually works. Or you could remove the wifi you want from your device and start all over again. Then it will probably just need you to input your email and password you created the first time you connected before.
