Where has the last 3 years gone?

Today I just paid off cc3. Very pleased that is gone, but we have made a planned spend on a 0% cc for the car. We are paying a set amount off and it should be cleared within the 0% period. I am going to keep a close eye on it though to make sure this is achieved. The other has £500 left to go and at £100/month should be gone after summer.
It has been nice to look back at my signature and track the progress we have made. New house is great and my no cleaner has been maintained. The £20 per week I used to spend now goes into a separate account and has saved me on a few occasions with unexpected bills so I am keeping that going. I have also jumped onto the bar or soap band waggon and still using a soap from 9 months ago I am liking the money savings that brings. I have also switched current accounts again and banked the £150 payment. The council tax payment has also reduced now we have had the new bill. It all is adding up. I have also been more strict with my food ordering since Xmas and I am pleased to say no clothes purchases for me. Now that spring is here spending time in the garden is keeping me out of the shops and it is doing wonders for the bank balance.
Each month I live within my means makes me smile, it was only by £40 last month but it’s still a win in my book. I transfer any surplus to my savings in the hope I can set up something more regular. This month has been a little unexpected as we have had to move to a bigger car seat!
My jeans currently have holes in the knees but as I work from home they will still do. When my good pair have holes then I can think about getting some more.
Next few months is about keeping with the small changes and not letting the sunny weather distract me from my goal.May 2013 £20,000, Sep 2016 £13,700, Feb 2017 £14,490, Jul 2017 £13,100, Dec 2017 £4,800, May 2018 £3,550 Sep 2019 £27,800 Oct 2020 £19,589 Sep 2021 £9,0000
