New Year's Day
Good Friday
Easter Sunday
May bank holiday (normally the first Monday in May)
Spring bank holiday (normally the last Monday in May)
August BH
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
*Because Easter moves around every year, it is possible to have a year with two Easters if your leave year starts/ends in the spring. (If your bank holiday allowance is separate from your 'normal' holiday allowance, employers are likely to force you to take the extra bank hol from your 'normal' allowance. In this case you should still get your full 28 days' minimum in the follwoing/preceding year with no Easter.)
Easter Sunday isn't a bank holiday at all. Easter Monday is though.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -
