Claiming road tax back

No you can't transfer it to another vehicle. Tells you on the back of the disc how to get a refund, basically just take the disc down to the PO or DVLA
edit- forgot to say if you're selling your old car you may aswell leave the tax on it, will help with the sale. Only worthwhile cashing in if you're scrapping it0 -
cant transfer it.
the form is downloadable from the DVLA site
you get a cheque for all unused complete months0 -
