  • Those 4 Credit Cards are all 0% deals most in excess of 30 months and I expect to clear them most (if not all) before the terms end.

In that case, you can disregard all the previous answers.

The question you need to answer is -
What cards, debts, limits and income do you have?
  • I agree - sounds like the whole picture needs consideration.

Do you need 6 cards? Not likely.

Is it best to have various debts on various cards and different rates of interest? Not likely. Better if possible to have all your debt at the lowest possible rate you can have, which may or may not be one or any of those cards.

But, without the full story - no response is assured of being right.

Barclaycard £1290.72 ~ Tesco (Wifes) £1461.49 ~ Barclaycard (Wifes) £582.40 ~ Virgin Money £3562.00 plus the other debts in sig. Paying £150 a month credit cards, £320 a month to family debt. I expect to bring in 25-26K, the wife another 15k. I get paid 13 times a year so one month's wages goes on on Credit Card debt, so looking at clearing at least 3k this year. I'll have another £120 a month from September I can be using also.

Are those first figures balances or limits? What are the missing figures?

Rather than a stream of numbers, plus 'other debts in the sig', lay it out by item - ie card A - debt - limit and so on.

I feel like we're playing Cluedo here.

Cancel the cards, then when they are shown as settled on your fav ?
credit site. ? ...then go for another new 2 cards at the same time.
Don't reduce limits on existing cards.
