Hi guys
I've decided that it is about time that I had a go at selling on Ebay  but I have no idea which Paypal account to go for? I would guess the premier account, but I was wondering what everyone else has.
Help would be loved x

Hi
Does anyone have any ideas? I have some items to get rid of any I'm not sure where else to try?
Do you think that something like an unused Sky broadband set would do ok on Ebay?

I'd start with a personal account if you're only selling bits, then you don't get charged for using it
I always put a note on my auctions telling people I can't accept credit card payments due to only having a personal account.

I wasn't really sure and as I've never tried Ebay before I thought it was best to ask.
I couldn't work out in the personal account accepted incoming payments! I can be really supid sometimes.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
If you don't have that much to sell a personal one is probably best, think you have a limit of £250 each month that you can receive, though not entirely sure.
It does get confusing it's not you being stupid mateTrying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -

I'll give it a go, I've been on about it for ages and then realised I didn't have a paypal account!

Heya Lucy!
I don't even know what sort of Paypal account I've got honey, so I won't be much use to you - sorry.
You might get more opinions on the eBay board, they helped me out with a postage dilemma earlier this week.

I and my OH have the free account and that has worked out fine, good luck going through the registration process it can get a little dull.
On a side note, if you are new to Ebay, maybe sell some cheap items first as most people wouldnt want to spend a lot on a seller with no feedback, good luck and let us know how you are getting on!Debt Free - done

hey i know having a personal account is better etc but alot of ebayers use their credit cards and your account wouldnt beable to accept it ... so then you may get stuck with e cheques that take forever to clear..
me personally i would use a premier account that way you will get alot more sales and quicker too... but its up to you.. have a read through... and ask for advice on the ebay question and answer boards too.. some lovely people there...0 -
I'm going to go with the personal account, I can always upgrade as I get a bit more condifent and into it.
Thanks for the help guys, hopefully I'll make some money!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
