Replacing a RWB2007 controller, wireless option?

House has become chaotic with different shift patterns which change weekly and access to the boiler controller is limited, requiring to move appliances to access it.
Moving the appliances is not an option. So the next step a wireless option?
Is there an affordable and direct replacement for the RWB2007?
eg. Tomorrow it will come on just before 4am - 6am, but it also needs to be on at 7:30am 9am. I could set that but that leaves the evening heating off. Coming home to a cold house how times have changed and what wimps we are
. Setting that with a wireless controller would be OK. but preferably one with more timed options per day.
Because in a few days time it will be on from 4am until 2pm. 3 different shifts that day. Then the person working the early shift will come home and may want the heating on.
Please Help
. Ye we are wimps and do not like the cold. What are my options?
Thanks.

Why not get a Hive or Nest?
Everybody could set the heating using a phone app. Th Hive would fit straight on to the existing backplate. The Nest might too.0 -
A little bit more than i wanted to spend i think? Is this it Argos £179? http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6553128?cmpid=GS001&_$ja=tsid:59157|cid:199887993|agid:17470555593|tid:pla-273019663347|crid:74692316913|nw:g|rnd:5485356192692523494|dvc:c|adp:1o2&gclid=COCBk4qW79ECFWG37QodQc8GAg
Is the nest more expensive?
All i want to do is remote the programmer, i dont need to have remote control of the thermostat. Thats easily accessible and rarely touched.

I don't know about your boiler or that controller but most of them are interchangeable. Were you planning on doing it yourself or hiring a heating engineer?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

If its fairly plug and play i can do it myself.
Its a Vaillant EcoTec Plus 418. Not adverse to a bit of wiring. Wired cookers and vehicles and can solder etc etc.
I should make one from an arduino i guess
But i want something a bit more stable and off the shelf. Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Bit late for the offer now, but Screwfix had this Hive V1 on offer today.

Would that have done what i need? Or would i require something else?
Thanks.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
