    If you want to improve your credit score by borrowing money and paying it back then use a 0% purchases card. Make sure you have enough money saved at the end of the 0% period to pay it back though. Pay off your overdraft and start saving the credit limit of your 0% card in somewhere that earns interest, go without everything that you don't need to survive so the money is sitting there as soon as possible.

    That works out the same as a loan, but they are paying you interest instead of you paying them.
