Guarantor is not a reason for complaint. You can still have PPI with a guarantor. However, yes you can complain to the car dealer.

  • Hi, thank you for replying.
I know having a guarantor is not the reason to complain, that wasn't the issue. But I just wanted information and confirmation on how I'd go about PPI claim . Thank you

You complain to the dealer listing your complain reasons and proof

They will respond and either agree or disagree

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Guarantor is a last resort. You are putting the guarantor at risk. So protecting yourself to reduce the impact on the guarantor is quite normal and a responsible thing to do.
