best way to spend cash during long term travel

Hi, I am planning to travel Europe for about six months this year and want to know the best way to spend my cash abroad. I've seen that credit cards are the best option but it looks like it's expected that you have an annual income, which I won't have as I have handed my notice in and am going to travel on my savings. Do I just go ahead and apply for the card using last years annual income or is there a better way to travel long term. Thanks.

Metro Bank if in or near London, Monzo if not.0

Carefully...
As Nifty says for cash, if you mean how do you spend money (not just cash) then also apply for one of the recommended credit cards such as Halifax Clarity. When applying answer the questions truthfully otherwise it could come back to bite you.0
