You ask for the case to be heard at a court nearest to you/your relative.

There is information about court in post 1 of the NEWBIES thread. You can also purchase a cheap guide to court from the Parking-Prankster's blogspot.

You will need to provide a lot more info for the regulars to help, but the first thing is to acknowledge the claim and state that it is going to be defended.

    No.

Jurisdiction means within the authority of the County Court, which is England & Wales. If the defendant lives in E&W, you can't contest jurisdiction.

If they live in Scotland, NI, or outside the UK, then you tick that box.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

This is covered in the NEWBIES sticky under 'Small Claim?' where bargepole explains how to fill in each form. We take it you are ONLY completing 'acknowledgement of service' and not DEFENCE yet? As per the advice, you acknowledge to buy more time for the defence.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
