Nothing, ignore all their kicking and screaming - do not reply - and if Starbucks can't cancel, find out who can (overall landowner).

Should i carry on ignoring it or any other suggestions?

For the record I no longer own the car this ticket relates to or live at the address they have for me!

Ignore that, but start reading all Gladstones defence cases in readiness, because you have so much in defence explained in your first post above. Well worth defending at claim stage, so inform yourself in advance rather than panicking if and when a small claims court form arrives in a few weeks.

Do you have total and immediate access to any mail going to your previous address? You need to beware of court proceedings being issued there (especially as there are very tight deadlines to deal with them), because if you don't get them forwarded to you, it's likely there'll be a default judgment against you, wrecking your credit-worthiness.

AS Parking have 6 years to pursue you and are 'court frisky' at the moment.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Thanks guys,

Yeah I have access to my previous address so will still receive the mail.

I will read up on the defence claims mentioned. Will the fact that I didn't appeal when i first received the ticket work against me? I have no idea how all this claim court stuff works so will start reading up on it

Not at all in terms of appeal and even if this was a small claim, you'd state you considered it a scam; demanding £100 for 26 seconds!

  • So after expecting a claims court form, yesterday I received a debt recovery plus letter which was seemingly more interested in making sure they had the new address for me more than anything else (still got my post code wrong though!).

After reading the many threads about debt recovery plus on here I presume my best bet is to just ignore this letter and wait for the letters from them to pile up?
