Does pawning go on credit file?

Hello
We have had the month from Hell and are really stumped for the next three weeks - then we'll be fine (have had to pay out for funeral, car, etc unexpectedly).
We are 2 payments off our mammoth DMP - so have few options for access to money. If I pawned our iPad would this show on my credit file?
Thanks

Hi,
No it won't.
Only consumer credit licenced companies can report on your credit file.

You do know you could probably reduce your payments for a month or two to get you through this month? This close to the end I appreciate you may not want to, but speak to your DMP provider - this is not impossible! Just explain you have had to help with a funeral and unexpected car repairs. Do token payments for one month, that should give you room to breathe and only set you back 1 month?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Thanks - they have done that and so that definitely helped, but since then we've been offered a last minute cancellation slot for a long awaited op for my daughter, and that's just tipping us over the edge. I am good at budgeting etc so would only be after at most £100 against it.
Thanks for the speedy reply, will pay them a visit Thursday morning:eek::eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20170 -
In terms of pawning, isn't it just 'fail to pay and we keep the goods and sell them?'Debt As Of 19/3/2021: £16,973 | Current Debt: £9,322 | 54.9% Repaid0
