Tesco 40 Months 0% Incorrect? Looking to Balance Transfer

Hi,
I've got just under £1000 on my Santander 123 Credit Card. As my 0% on spends has finished and they have upped the yearly fee it's no longer beneficial for me to have this card.
I did the eligibility calculator for balance transfer cards on this site and several came back at 80% chance of being accepted. I think Tesco seems to be the best one for me. It says that if you get accepted you definitely get 0% on transfer for 40 month, not 'up to'. But when I go through to the Tesco site it says 'up to' 40 months.
Have Tesco recently changed this?
Has anyone applied for this card and been offered less than the 40 months?
Thanks.

I don't know if they have recently changed their T&C's. But it seems clear on their website
0% interest on balance transfers for up to 40 months from account opening with a 2.69% fee. We may offer you a 0% interest period of 34 or 28 months instead depending on your individual circumstances.

No point blaming Tesco if MSE have got their information wrong.0

I applied for their 0% on Purchases credit card late last year which was up to 28 months; based on my circumstances I came out with 22 months.
There are many factors which would determine the length of your offer etc but even 28 months interest free is better than nothing? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I got a 0% BT for 24 months.0

There are several different Tesco offers, balance transfers at 0% for 24 months zero fee, 32 months about 0.7% fee, and that 40 months. Also one with 0% on purchases for a year and some months.
I think you decide which one you want to apply for, and then perhaps they vary the period of the longer ones as per posts 2 and 4.0 -
