Eligibility checker accuracy?

in Credit cards
I've been using a few eligibility checkers/calculators from different sites recently to try and work out which credit card I'm most likely to get if I apply as I've never had a credit card before. I've noticed that across the sites (MSE, MoneySupermarket, Noddle etc.) I'm getting very varied results, which I guess is to be expected, but at the same time is very confusing. For example, MSE is stating that I have a 0% chance of getting the Barclaycard Initial, whilst Barclaycard's own eligibility checker has given me an 8/10 using the exact same details.
I understand results will vary between sites, but how do I determine which card to apply for if they differ so much?!

Maybe try perusing all the other eligibility tracker accuracy threads in here to get an idea..?0

Your first port of call for your first credit card should be your bank...the one that receives your income and pays your bills. They know far more about you than any eligibility checker does.
If they say no, then approach Barclaycard Initial, or any of the other credit builder cards.0
