I know that, but the cashier didn't. As I said, they will probably get better at checking you're using them for what they're supposed to be used for. And I certainly wasn't advocating that people should spend them on beer or pizza!

There is information on the website that tells you which shops accept the vouchers. In my area it is only the Spar, Iceland and Farmfoods. Big chains dont accept them as far as I know.

Woohoo thanks OP, just discovered I qualify for 2 vouchers per week, and that my local Tesco accepts them. Didn't expect to qualify at all so chuffed to bits. £5.60 a week is worth having! I've never heard of these vouchers so a very useful post IMO.0
