As Haljordan says above, it's worth what someone will give you for it. eBay is a very wide audience. Don't forget to set a reserve at £5 plus whatever it will cost to post, you don't want to make a loss.0 -

I listed an AK47 serial number on E-Bay a few months back, got a whopping... £9.50 for it!
I think the bubble has burst after the initial flurry of silly money being paid, speculators continue to list in hope of catching a mug, but there are just too many of these 'special' serial numbers in circulation now. Whoever paid £80K or whatever it was for an AK47 must feel pretty silly now.
