Put it up on eBay and see, the AA01's are going for varying prices. I saw one sell for less than £5, though that wasn't a AA01 to be fair, ha ha!

It's worth whatever a collector is willing to pay for one. Best to sell when the initial media reports come out, soon after the prices end up dropping. I have a Kew Garden 50p coin that is going for around £70 these days, last year it was more like £90!

I've got an AK47 fiver, was given it in change in the pub. Remarkably honest barman saw the number, commented that they're selling for more than a fiver, and still handed it over rather than putting it back and giving me another one.


I don't get it, it's just a number. The ones to look for are the four with the micro-engraving of someone or other, but I don't know how many have been found now.
