Cost of a roof in kent/london

I'm a handyman type of person can do many things and know a few people in the trade via my work, but roofing is not my skills

My brother asked me to look into roof prices been looking at the net prices vary.

Brother ants roof stripped, new linings, and new marley tiles. Ig money left over, new sofits, gutters and down pipers

he lives in large 3 bed semi buit in the early 1970's and the birds etc have made his roof a big mess so wants nie tiles and then not worry about it 30 years.

Thanks.

    Hi
I'm in Bournemouth and just had a quote for my roof 3/4 bed detached with original 1900ish roof.
    Quote is
    Slate Roof
Erect scaffold to safely access roof.
Strip existing roof slates, felt and batten and remove from site.
De-nail existing rafters and re-nail rafter feet.
Supply and fix continuous over fascia vent and felt support tray.
Supply and fix Roof Shield breather membrane and treated roofing battens nailed to set gauge.
Supply and fix Jutland 600x300 fibre cement slates, each to be fixed with 2 copper nails and 1 copper rivet.
Supply and fix new ridge with dry fix vent kit.
Supply and fix a high performance felt roof to bay.
Remove all rubbish leaving site clean and tidy.
    Total Sum of £ 6250.00 + vat

I realise that it's not Kent or London prices but hope this gives an idea

I am also from Bournemouth, It was the dust that replacing the roof, that drove me crazy.

I am wondering if the part of London the OP is asking about. might be Black Heath?????
