Lowered my Barclaycard interest

It really is a shame that you have cut the card up. The obvious solution to your problem with such a small balance of £810 would have been to pay it in full to stop interest then use it for your regular spending and pay off in full every month.
It's not possible for me to pay it off in one go. After tax and my car (salary sacrifice) I only get 1100£ I have to pay my share of bills and put fuel in the car.
I could pay the balance off in full I would, it may be a small balance to some but not others, until last month (Birthday) the cash balance was 1.5k so if it hadn't been for some birthday money to put towards my normal payment it would still be relatively high.0 -
You could probably save money on the car, new cars on lease deals are generally very expensive.0

I need a reliable car as travel up and down the country with being an army child and family everywhere.
It works out cheaper through work with the salary sacrfice as I get tax, insurance, accident management, tyres, servicing and I only took a 2yr lease which like I said above is why I need to HP next year.
It's only a c1 by the way not an expensive car.
I work just like most Others don't treat myself to anything else anymore so a new car is my only vice. Plenty of people get new cars now a days. My first two cars where used and in all honesty crap the amount of money I spent on tax/mot etc weighed my options. Once my Loan and credit card are paid off ill by 460£ a month off better.
I'm also looking for a new job. But it's not as easy as it use to be. Hoping to get a decent pay rise this year.0 -
You picked the wrong cars in the past. Plenty of other used cars that wont give you trouble.0
