I would buy an android phone, they're cheap enough. Then you can keep all your personal stuff off your work phone.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

Why does it have to be an app necessarily, not a browser?
E.g. Halifax website, IMO, is more oriented on mobiles than on PCs.
TSB recognises mobile devices and directs you to a special website (giving an option to go to a desktop one if you want).
So do most other banks I guess.

I have Lloyds, TSB, Bank of Scotland and Barclays apps on my Windows 10 phone. There's no individual Halifax app that I can find in the Store but you can access its accounts through the BoS app if you have a BoS login. They're functional but compared to their iPhone and iPad apps it seems like they're no longer being developed.
There's no sign to me of any of HSBC's brands or Nationwide apps in the Store.0 -
What happens if you loose your phone or stolen ?
All my banking is done on my home pc, that will at least be secure,
unless I am burgled or raided !

If you lose your phone each app has passwords, you can put a password on your phone and if you've set them up correctly you can wipe and lock phones which use modern operating systems remotely. You'd want to have your SIM(s) blocked but if they get past all this to set up a new payee any crook would have to follow the usual extra steps. I'm not worried.0

I'm the opposite and do all my banking on my iPhone SE which has fingerprint authorisation for both accessing the phone and accessing the banking apps. What it comes down to is that it's only as secure as the device it's on.0 -
And iOS/Windows Phone/Android also have the ability to lock the device remotely if you happen to lose/have your device stolen (assuming it's not been switched off, had Airplane Mode activated or the battery has depleted). It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

Thanks for the response.
I was sure TSB stopped having a windows app though.0
