coop energy
I switched to Coop Energy through this site and it's been a nightmare, the account is set up online, as in I can login and see my name and address, there's no meter readings, there's no page showing me how much I'm paying them and when, there's nothing telling me if the switch from British Gas has happened at all.
I keep contacting them on twitter and being told they'll sort it but nothing has changed.
Please tell me it gets better?!?!?
What's also annoying is that I have £257 in BG that I'm waiting to be refunded but they won't until the switch is complete.
Thanks
H

Give The Co-Operative a call and they should be able to confrim your switch over date. British Gas will issue a final bill to your verified readings within 28 days if not sooner.Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0

I wish I could assure it does ..... but it really doesn't! I was with them last year and they were terrible. My account wasn't set up properly, meters weren't registered correctly, customer service was shocking (If you can get through that is), I didn't get a bill for months (I know they bill quarterly) and you can't submit readings if they have already predicted your readings and they are actually lower.
The whole thing was awful, I couldn't wait to switch!0 -
ugh, so annoying.
I stayed with BG for years because I loved their online portal and offering and never had a problem with them until this last 12 months where they stopped billing me for gas randomly and I ended up in debit. and then have been paying £150 a month to pay it off. Then saw people on here recommending switching as they're the most expensive.
So frustrating.Hell yeah!!0 -

If they have not asked you for meter readings yet, the in doesn't sound like they have switched you yet.
When did you first apply to switch?
Has the supplier contacted you welcoming you, and providing your 14 day cooling off period notification? If so, when was this received?
Are you paying this supplier anything currently?
If so, how are you paying? e.g. Direct Debit?
If so, have you not been provided with the appropriate advance notice that should have told you how much you were paying, the fisrt date of collection, and the frequency.0 -
Just noticed that the Co-op have pulled one of their deals.I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left!0
