Years ago, we could have had a free electric shower, as my husband worked for a company that made them, but messing about with the plumbing was the lesser of the things putting me off.
The main one was childhood memories of dodging the water during forced mass showers after school PE and I've never used a shower since. I could use one when on holiday, but hate the very thought.0 -
I probably use shower/bath 50/50. I like having the option and a house not having a bath would definitely put me off. I find having a bath very relaxing and if I'm having a phase of not sleeping well I might a nice relaxing bath, on the other hand a shower wakes me up and is a nice way to start the day.
Having said that you can't do your house on the basis of what a future purchaser might like as who knows who they will be or what they will want. What suits one won't suit another so better to have the house how you want it.Sell £1500
