I very nearly bought my 4th EDT earlier today, as I like to have 4 separate ones but chickened out as I was still unsure.
Instead i've gone to Fragrance Direct (thanks Dolly for the recommendation) who are selling off Milton Lloyd dupes at £2.99, so thought it may be wise to try them out once I had spent hours of my last day off from work scouring the internet for reviews etc. We'll see if it's money well spent, but a lot of reviews of reputable sites and messageboards appear to be positive about Milton Lloyd products.
Using the shower gel as handwash is working. The smell stays on my hands for longer and I don't need to use as muchWeight Loss - Start (21st September 2016) 13st 10lbs, Current 10st 10lb (20th August 2017) :j

I often use shower gels as hand wash for that reason. I get to enjoy the scent for longer.
I will definitely be joining again this month as I did really badly last month. I have also had a lot of free review products come in the last week. I am happy because they are products that are too expensive for me to buy, but they have created a space crisis!
This month I really want to look at my cosmetics. I really want to just have a capsule collection. I was originally going to use all my cosmetics up to avoid waste, but realistically that would mean it would take a few years to get to my ideal capsule collection. It is getting me down so I think I need to just chuck stuff. I think I will try and swatch everything this month as I suspect when I actually see some of the products on my skin I will not be as enamoured by them.0 -

While I don't think I personally will ever have a capsule collection of makeup I completely get where you're coming from. I'm pulling out things I haven't used recently and giving them another go. If I don't like them, they're going! So far, I'm persevering with a mascara but I'm 99% sure it's going in the bin. I also tried a blusher I thought was too dark. It was but I also noticed it has a lovely gold shift when swatched heavily on my hand so I may try it as an eyeshadow. It's very dry though so I imagine it will crease. If it doesn't work as shadow it's going! No point wearing makeup you don't feel happy in just for the sake of it - kind of defeats the object of wearing makeup in the first place!0 -
Hello to all the usual faces and the new folk too!
I had a really bad month after a few good ones, that's how the cookie crumbles I guess.
I have pulled out a few of my save for good items and am going to start using them tomorrow as I had a make up free day today. I have a Kate wins let gold hat highlighter to use up. I refund it at the bottom of my make up stash.
My finish by march goals are
1. Lancôme foundation
2. Dr Brandt moisturiser
3. Finish a bottle of micelluar water
4. Lip balm from superdrug
5. Est!e Lauder shimmer serum
I would love to use up more but I really need to recommence wearing SPF daily.0 -

Exactly! I am trying to be more ruthless and am having to overrule my more frugal side! I spent several weeks trying to use up a body lotion I LOATHED and I thought what on earth am I doing this for?! Those 'lipstick a day' challenges on YouTube have made me think the best way to declutter make-up is to actually try everything on rather than just sift through my collection. I notice in those videos the girls always end up saying, 'I thought I loved this lipstick, but when I actually went out in it I realised it made me look awful or made my lips dry out'. I suspect I will have the same reaction.0 -

What I'm finding as well though is that I might have thought that I don't like a particular lip colour but paired up with a different eye colour it looks good.
Yesterday I wore my MAC Dare You lipstick and absolutely love it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
