Help!

Hello everyone, been browsing the forum for about a month now, top banana stuff i tell thee. Loving the free stuff through my door! :beer:

Anyhoo, thought id pop my MSE cherry by enquiring about travel around the country. Basically I am trying to get from Durham to the Newbury/Swindon/Hungerford/Didcot area as cheap as possible for June 10th. The cheapest thing I can find is train tickets but they still come to about 50 quid (thats returning on the 13th). This is kinda more than I was planning to pay, does anyone have any ideas for getting there cheaper or have I left it too late for such moneysaving malarchies?

you can do this journey by bus(well from newcastle) - megabus for around £14 , takes a while but saves £££££
