in Credit cards
Hi all,
Here is my situation: I have £1500 on a BOS card which I intent to transfer onto a Barclays 0% 42 month card but.. I have £700 I need to pay off on my very.co.uk account, which I am unable to pay off before the end of the interest period. So what I intend to do is, pay this off with a Halifax card I have and then, if this is possible, transfer it onto another Barclays 0% card (25 month, maybe).
So am I able to get two 0% cards from the same bank?
Thanks in advance.

Depends on the bank.0

Some lenders are happy for you to have more than one BT CC with them. I have two with Tesco.
However other lenders restrict you to one. I'm not sure of the policy with Barclaycard? Have you tried their eligibility checker?0 -
At one time it was possible to hold two Barclaycards concurrently then it appeared to revert to one.
Their soft search tool does ask if you already hold a Barclaycard; it's less than six months since I opened my Platinum account so I've not tried it as I know I'd be "declined" based on the tool.
However it's possible to hold more than one Halifax credit card:

If you're anything like me, no! MBNA denied my application for an extra card and when I phoned them they advised applying for a limit increase on my existing card. Lloyds bank similarly denied my application for an extra card but doubled the limit on my existing card without me asking for it.0 -
Why can't you transfer both onto the same Barclaycard?0

Wouldn't it be so good if we could demand something from lenders and get it0 -
